Back in the 50s there was a famous mob nightclub in Elizabeth New Jersey the coral lounge crazy card games upstairs incredible food and cocktails in the bar Sal playing the piano and doing his mind meeting act sal was so famous there they put his name in neon out front and he had his own private reading room and mask room in the basement and he pulled a lot of people out of the closet in that club first he would read your mind and then hypnotize you I’m downstairs for your own private reading Ha Ha

I spent 30 years on the streets of New York City photographing photographing anything I thought was interesting If I wasn’t photographing interesting people on the street I was photographing hundreds of events parties and gallery opens at night by 29th and Broadway there was a methadone clinic lots of junkies and Drug attic’s would go there sometime it was like a street of zombies

This is my grandfathers fourth fishing smuggling party boat out of Key West Florida it made many trips to San Diego Bay in Cuba during the Cuban missile crisis and Bay of Pigs while he was smuggling CIA agents he snuck in some rum sponges and weapons he got busted twice no charges ever held this boat Had to custom engines in it, it flew I went for a ride on it in 1968 to the reef we were there in 22 minutes you see his face on the side of the boat that’s how he rolled the man the myth the legend my grandfather Captain Tony
