This is Mr. Jack Smith he was a famous artist producer and writer very good friends with my great uncle Sal this image right here was the front cover of the village voice newspaper the biggest art newspaper In the world no bullshit the mask that he is posing with is actually in my living room she’s called the Bitch Sal created her over 80 years ago 1937 for the New York worlds fair I inherit her and over 100 of her brothers and sisters over 20 years ago I used them in two of my studios like Sal did for over 50 years she’s actually in my living room right now Anyway Jack Smith was a very famous person that’s why they contacted me for this image after the story came out with this image on the front cover I was contacted by many people Things pretty much took off after that , if you stay on this category you will see over 800 interesting photos with fascinating stories pertaining to the family we’re having a little problem with our spellcheck so you might see some words spelled

I do a lot of Facebook surfing probably four hours every 24 hours i’m always looking for great images and cool videos that I could post on my Facebook account which I am currently suspended on for 30 days just for saying the word fag not even in a bad way just explaining a story Anyway you folks take a Lotta beautiful sunset photos in Key West I hate to brag but I was publishing postcards of sunsets and sunrises before most of you were even born, in the mid-70s like 43 years ago this is a sunrise taken off of White Street pier Lisa and I would close Captain Tony’s Saloon About 4:00 in the morning then of course we would all go out to some crazy party either on a boat or some Key West secret underground bar and then photograph sunrise this was one of those days Key west the way it was but the sunsets were always the same I’m sure for 1 million years I called this one reflections it was published all over Florida

Now that you have made it to this category on this website let me tell you a little bit about it there is over 800 images that myself and my family have taken each of the images either have been published or really cool my great uncle Sal has a studio as far back as 1928 specializing in gorgeous men and myself I’ve been a publisher target for as far back as 1978 one of my claim to fame is publishing over 1200 beautiful exotic dancers in New York and New Jersey a lot of great nudes You will also see a great collection of my grandfathers works you know that crazy mafia run smuggler mayor of Key West guy Captain Tony owner of the original Hemingway bar in Key West He was photographing as far back as the late 40s on that island when it was real crazy

After I put together two cable TV specials about my great uncle Sal and then landing the editors choice feature story in American photo that went worldwide I landed a sweet movie deal with Bad Co films that was in 2005 he gave me a sweet contract and $75,000 sign on first the editor of Tashan publishing had some type of breakdown my contract was voided but I got to keep the sign on money I was heartbroken but I still had the sweet movie deal with bad company films one of the owners was Gerald Caselli of the band Devo Do you know that great song whip it good in the very beginning of getting everything together something happened to that company and Gerald Casale again the contract was void I got to keep the money right now after 16 years I am a free agent with my family story and images we are in some sweet negotiations right now no sign on yet I want to make sure I pick the right investors I am still open for partners and ideas

From 1928 till present The Terracina‘s have been doing portraits in over a half a dozen of their studios Sal and Keith Terracina also have many published Images actually over 90 years worth there’s also another Terracina that took hundreds of photographs in Key West during the 40s through the 70s Captain Tony Terracina you know the famous mob guy from New Jersey who bought the original Hemingway bar became a famous smuggler and then became mayor love that crazy island Key West also have his collection Anyway I just spent the last two years building up this category with 800 really cool images the family has taken with stories to go with them if you stay on this category you’re in for a real adventure Images nobody has seen yet

Very interesting large format negative right here the year 1943 the two little kids holding hands is my dad Louis and his little sister my Aunt Tonia.
